I have gone through the modules on the London Deanery site and they have now mapped them to the framework which helps a lot

If you go to

You will see 21 modules covering the 7 areas of framework . I think there are more modules than when I last did them.

The seven areas are

  1. Ensuring safe and effective patient care
  2. Establishing and maintaining an environment for learning
  3. Teaching and facilitating learning
  4. Enhancing learning though assessment
  5. Supporting and monitoring educational progress
  6. Guiding personal and professional development
  7. Continuing professional development as an educator

 

For named clinical supervisors and educational supervisors you have to be accredited by July 31st 2016

For those who have not done any,  as a starter I would recommend the following

          

Interprofessional Education   covers 1, 2 ,3

Assessing Educational Needs  covers  3 4 5 6

Supervision                 covers 3 5 6

Managing the Trainee in Difficulty   covers 3 4 5 6

Careers Support                     covers 6 & 7

After doing this and any others you can complete the portfolio and submit to PGDME
